Dublin Docklands
The Docklands is recognised as being the corporate business centre of Dublin city. Located on both sides of the River Liffey, roughly from the Talbot Memorial Bridge eastwards to the 3Arena, the area is home to the Daniel Libeskind designed Bord Gais Energy Theatre and the Kevin Roche designed Convention Centre. North and South quays are connected at the heart of the Docklands by the Samuel Beckett Bridge designed by Santiago Calatrava.
In 2015 Dublin Docklands Development Authority sent out to tender a call for new street litter bins which would befit this area. Omos s16.2ss litter bin was the product of choice.

Keel Square, Sunderland
Officially opened on the 31st of August 2015, Keel Square is a celebration of Sunderland’s rich shipbuilding heritage. The Square was designed by Sunderland City Council in-house multidisciplinary design team, their aim being to create a new central business district within the city.
Omos was invited by the design team to propose seating solutions based on their maritime themed concepts. The result, a durable galvanized steel construction, naturally finished Jatoba hardwood with etched bronze detailing.
People’s Park, Dún Laoghaire
The People’s Park is a beautifully landscaped, historic park that opened in Dún Laoghaire in 1890. The park was developed near the end of the 19th century by the town commissioners in the formal Victorian style.
In 2014, Dún Laoghaire – Rathdown County Council completed an extensive refurbishment of the park to restore its original Victorian layout as well as introduce contemporary interventions to upgrade the park for the 21st century.
Omos was chosen to provide some ‘catalogue products’ for the extensive restoration as well as adapting some standard products to fit the Park’s specific needs.
s16.2 Success!
Winston Churchill once said that success is going from failure to failure without the loss of enthusiasm. There has been much thinking down through the ages around the whole notion of failure and how to use the experience positively.
We won't go into the hours of research & development, design, testing, modifying and retesting that went into creating our award winning s16.2 litter bin.
In addition, the smiling picture beside will tell you nothing about these trials either. The picture merely celebrates Omos Chief Designer, Richard Lyons' ultimate success!
'The secret of success - double your failure rate.'

Success
Chief Omos Designer, Richard Lyons has met with success with the design of the Omos s16.2 litter bin at the Intellectual Property Awards 2014 winning Designer of the Year!
'In designing this product, Omos set out to maximise the co-operation between form and function, and made careful comparisons of the pros and cons of other bins, including cost and durability. Judges commented favourably on Omos’ imaginative use of design to improve everyday objects.'

Omos Select
At all times we at Omos direct our efforts at delivering products which enhance our reputation for quality, innovation and competitiveness.
But we are always looking for other opportunities to collaborate with like-minded manufacturing companies. We are continually on the lookout for products which could possibly complement our range and in doing so offer our clients a greater choice for their landscaping needs.
Such an opportunity recently presented itself in linking up with a very reputable French manufacturer Pro Urba who are manufacturers of a very impressive range of resin concrete planters - a material which is 5 times lighter than concrete, 5 times as resistant as concrete and is frost resistant.
To 'cement' this possible relationship, we recently we took an inspection trip to their factory in France and following this visit we are pleased to announce that we have now agreed an exclusive distribution agreement with Pro Urba for their full range of planters for Ireland and the UK.
